The orchard-garden was designed as a common area for the E Lane community.  Fruits & Berries include: Seckle pears, apples, quince, black raspberries, blue berries, strawberries and chest nuts.   In addition to edibles, the garden includes native flowers like coneflowers (echinacea)  and bee balm (bergamont) that have medicinal uses.  Black Eyed Susans are drought tolerant and  attract bees that are  essential to a productive garden.  The edible landscaping  supports the concept of sustainability while adding fresh fruit to the  table.
